Wine-Braised Pork Chops

You will need

4 pork neck chops

50 ml olive oil

150 ml red wine

2 sprigs fresh oregano

20 g butter

Salt

Pepper

COOKING TIME

  1. Place the pork chops in a large pan and add one cup of water. Cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the water evaporates completely.
  2. Add the olive oil and brown the chops on both sides.
  3. Add the oregano and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour in the wine and let it evaporate.
  5. Finally, add the butter and let it simmer for 2 more minutes, until the sauce thickens.
